Monterey County

Monterey County offers warm days and cool nights, as fog from the Pacific Ocean is funneled in from the bay. This cooler climate is excellent for our Chardonnay, bringing delicious flavor with a healthy acid profile. The winemaking techniques listed below, in conjunction with outstanding fruit helped bring the rich, flavorful finished wine together.

Monterey County delivers a classic Chardonnay with a toasty finish. The Slow Press winemaking process magnifies fruit aromas and delivers notes of fresh apple, lemon, and pear. Slow Press Chardonnay is aged in American Oak barrels for 12 months to develop a full-bodied, creamy mouthfeel.

Gentle Press
