Slow Press^® is a homage to and resurrection of the winemaking craft.

As a veteran winemaker, Blake Bomben has a remarkable talent for cultivating some of the best coastal California grapes and turning them into distinguished wines. Gentle handling of the grapes and a slowed fermentation process helps generate the purest, most concentrated fruit character. The result: a rich, yet balanced style with intense flavor.

Blake’s appreciation for craft extends to his personal life. In his moments at home, he can often be found cooking, brewing beer, pickling fruits and vegetables, and gardening.
